It is one of the most important noble palaces, and today it is the seat of the Filarmonica Accademy.
Designed by Gian Battista Scapitta and built by Giacomo Zanetti at the beginning of the 18th century, it was modified at the end of the same century by Scamozzi, who gave the façade the present neoclassical style. The courtyard is extremely beautiful, embellished with statues, balconies and scenographic wings which come out from the portico shadows with columns and plastered ribbed vaults. The vault of the impressive stairway was painted by Pietro Francesco Guala; inside, there are some lovely frescoes by Natali from Savona and by Francesco Lorenzi from Verona.
