The ancient rooms of the former convent of Santa Croce are the seat of the Civic Museum which contains important art collections. On the first floor there are paintings, sculptures and ceramics (from 12th to 20th century) belonging to the civic collections. In the five rooms of the ground floor there is the Gipsoteca (gallery of plaster casts) of the symbolist sculptor Leonardo Bistolfi (1859-1933): a unique collection with 170 works including sketches and models made in terracotta, chalk, marble and bronze
